Yountville is often referred to as the heart of the Napa Valley and is home to the French Laundry, Bottega, Redd, and a slew of other famous restaurants, wineries, and resorts. The Town now has 12 tasting rooms from a vast array of wineries located throughout the Napa Valley. But there a few gems and lessor know wineries located within a stone’s throw of Town that you can actual visit.
Here are some of my favorites. Please visit one or more when you are in Town and tell them Curtis sent you. Thanks and cheers ….

Their tasting room is located at 6512 Washington Street in Yountville but their Secret Garden Tour is well worth seeing. It begins with an hour-long exploration of Jacobsen Orchards, an idyllic, 1.3 acre oasis hidden smack in the middle of a residential community, about 5 minutes from the Hill Family Estate tasting room in downtown Yountville. photo from Hill Family website
