This is a weekly feature to keep you informed about the real estate happenings in Yountville. Besides just real estate info, I hope to give the readers of my blog some insight into the heart of Yountville using a variety of media including photos, tidbits, gossip and other fun things. If this is of interest to you, I would love hearing from you. If there are other cities here in the Napa Valley, such as St. Helena or Calistoga, you would like this feature expanded to, let me know.

FACTS ETC
Upcoming on October 3rd, 4th and 5th is Yountville Days. This is Yountville showing itself as a small town even though it is set in the middle of the Napa Valley and all the impact that that brings. Not unlike Mayberry holding a town parade down 5th Avenue in New York. Even though Yountville has evolved and to many is more chic than it is rural, the Sunday parade is truly small town Americana at it’s best.
On Friday evening, October 3 there will be a free family movie, “Surf’s Up’ at Yountville Park. New this year will be a chili cook off at Yountville Park on Saturday October 4th. And on Sunday October 5th, will be the parade, live music, food and enetertain event, again at Yountville Park.
This years theme, “This is YountvilleThrough the Years” will feature something special with a celebration and preview of the historical photographs which have been collected for “A History of Yountville”, a history book which tells the story of Yountville through photographs and recollections of its long-time residents.
This is a fun, family style, event and if you can make it, you will enjoy yourself mingling among the residents who give the Heart of Napa Valley its soul. I will take some photos and post them in my next “Yountville weekly real estate update”. Hope to see you here.
