The following graphs are for the time frame February 2007 thru April 2008 and show in the first graph number of homes for sale, sale pending and sold; in the second graph, sold vs list price percent plus average days on market; and in the third graph, average price per square foot. Though the data seems to indicate a slow market here, things are not that bad. Prices have stabilized for now and just this last week, 5 new properties have come on the market, all at new high asking prices for these homes. It will be interesting to see how the market reacts and if all sale. Tune in my future articles for the answer.
