Revenue is up 17.5% over the same period last year as is lodging occupancy and rates which rose 6.5% and 7.5% respectively over the first 5 months of last year.
During the peak summer months, Yountville hotel rooms are rented about 85% of the time and Napa 75%. The average room rate in Yountville during October 2014, $545 per night. The average room cost for all Napa Valley hotels in May this year, $255 per night.

According to another report from Visit Napa Valley, in 2014 a total of 86.4 percent of local visitors were from the United States and 13.6 percent were international visitors. In 2012, 8.1 percent of Napa Valley’s visitors were from outside of the country.
