|Prohibition in the Napa Valley: Castles Under Sieg
Historian and author Liz Weber will discuss the rise, implementation and aftermath of Prohibition in Napa Valley and share stories of bootleggers, speakeasies, and questionable law enforcement officials. Copies of her new book Prohibition in the Valley: Castles Under Siege will be available for purchase. Presented in conjunction with Forbidden Fruit: Prohibition in Napa Valley, on display in the Museum’s Spotlight Gallery. $15 per person $5 for Museum, Napa County Historical Society & Napa County Landmarks Members.

A Certified Farmers’ Market starting May 4, 2013, every Saturday from 8:30am to 12:00pm at the Sharpsteen Plaza on Washington Street in downtown Calistoga. Market offers a variety of farm fresh produce and food purveyors. There are also a variety of crafters and live music.
