Periodically C.A.R., the California Association of Realtors, publishes newsletters, e mags and other useful information which I find interesting and helpful. One such email I get from them is called “One Cool Thing”. This month’s graphic was titled “Buyer Optimism”, “IS WAY UP”
My feeling, it is better than it was and definitely way above a couple of years ago. But looking at the number of solds in the last couple of months compared to 2102, sales are ok. In October through today, there have been 73 sold Napa Valley residential properties compared to 114 in 2012. For September and August 2013 compared to 2012, these numbers are 139 vs 133 and 155 vs 179.
As you can see, only September showed a slight increase in the homes sold here. My gut tells me optimism is better but still many people are being cautious given all the craziness going on especially with the idiots inside the beltway. If you are looking to buy here in the Napa Valley;
