Sitting about two miles up Atlas Peak Road past Silverado Resort & Spa is a very unique memorial park. It is Bubbling Well pet cemetery. This 21 acre property is the final resting place for over 12,000 pets.
Given the way most pet owner’s feel for their companions, it is fitting to have such a unique setting as their final resting place. For those that want to bury their pet somewhere else or spread their ashes at their buddy’s favorite site, cremation services are available.
Bubbling Well offers three different types of burial services where a casket and headstone costs from $600 to $1,000. Cremations run from $150 to $200 including the urn. There are also “Country burials” where several animals are cremated together with their ashes being disposed of in Sonoma County. If an owner chooses this communal options, the pets names are inscribed on the Memorial Pet Register at Bubbling Well.
I know many of my friends have their animals interned at Bubbling Well and given their attachment to their best buddy, they sleep a little better knowing the have left them at the perfect place. A place were they are among their friends.
